I am passionate about engaging with clients. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the key to success. I use a client-centered approach, letting the client determine their own path, identifying strengths and roadblocks, and searching for more adaptive coping strategies. I have over 35 years experience providing therapeutic services to clients of all ages and with a variety of struggles. My experience includes clinical work with children and adolescents in New York City, directing a substance abuse program with Native American tribes in New Mexico, and operating a mental health clinic in rural Wisconsin. For the past 10 years, I was working in Hawaii with multi-cultural clients. |
